Vero is hosting “The Good Market,” a community market for buying or trading pre-loved items and discovering environmentally friendly products. Happening on April 26 at 515 Victory in Bangkok from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, the market aims to inspire mindful choices and make sustainability part of everyday life.
The Good Market builds on the success of “The Good Shop,” Vero’s pop-up second-hand sale and exchange stall where team members bought, sold, and donated their pre-loved clothing and accessories. Located at the Vero Supercampus in Bangkok, the shop not only promoted the principles of sustainable fashion among colleagues but also gathered valuable insights into young professionals’ shifting preferences towards fashion.
The Good Market will bring together eco-conscious influencers like wellness advocate Pichaya Khamprasit (@tantansdiary), fashion leader AMYICE (@aiamice), beauty and wellness influencer Kat Rinyaphat (@katrinyaphat), and health-focused influencer Ittiphol Pholsong (@takeit.ittiphol). They are set to join pre-loved fashion vendors and sustainable brands like Wastic, known for chic sunglasses made from upcycled materials, in showcasing how sustainability can be a part of everyday life.
“The Good Shop transformed a corner of our Vero Bangkok office into a vibrant exchange hub where team members could buy, sell, and trade everything from used clothes to books and collectibles. What began as an internal experiment quickly transformed into a culture,” said Natnicha Chaisirilarp, IMC+ Account Director at Vero. “With The Good Market, we want to scale this proven initiative beyond corporate walls and show how small changes in consumption habits can collectively make an environmental impact.”
The Good Market will feature a range of fun activities:
- Charity Market: Refresh your wardrobe sustainably by trading your pre-loved fashion pieces for nice second-hand finds while supporting a good cause. Proceeds, after covering event costs, will support the Seven Clean Seas Foundation for ocean conservation, and all untraded clothing will be donated to the “Pan Kan” shop by Yuvabadhana Foundation to support youth education through their second-hand program.
- Sustainable Food Stalls: Enjoy delicious dishes served with care. All utensils, containers, and packaging are made from sustainable or reusable materials to help cut down waste.
- Panel Discussion and Live Entertainment: Hear from changemakers, creative entrepreneurs, NGOs, and influencers as they share practical tips about building sustainable and eco-conscious communities. Enjoy live performances by LOVEiS’s Rooftop band and other artists throughout the day.
- Handcraft Workshops: Upcycle pre-loved belongings and transform them into environmentally friendly crafts.
The event brings together strategic partners who contribute their unique support. The “Pan Kan” shop by Yuvabadhana Foundation will share insights on how the pre-loved market is impacting society and Seven Clean Seas Foundation will raise awareness about ocean plastic pollution. Meanwhile, Unilever international, Unilever’s global business unit and whitespace partner serves as a main sponsor, with its oral care and beauty care brands Fluocaril, Closeup, Simple, Vaseline, and Hellmann’s. Additionally, 515 Victory, an urban boutique resort offering a full range of services from hospitality to event spaces at the heart of Bangkok, serves as the venue partner of The Good Market community event.
The Good Market comes at a pivotal time, as interest in sustainable choices continues to grow, driven by rising environmental concerns. The textile industry accounts for 4-8% of the Thailand’s total carbon emissions, making it one of the most carbon-intensive sectors in the country.
At the same time, consumer habits are shifting. A study from NielsenIQ shows that younger generations, especially Gen Z, are highly value-driven, prioritizing sustainable and socially responsible products. This shift is reflected in the rapid growth of Thailand’s second-hand market, which saw a 20% increase in value in 2023 and is projected to grow by 15% annually from 2024 to 2027.
“Thailand’s growing interest in sustainable fashion shows that sustainability is becoming a key driver in lifestyle choices,” said Sitala Sangkaew, Creative & Design Director at Vero. “The Good Market provides a welcoming space where people can shop, share, and connect with like-minded people. We’ve designed it not just as a marketplace, but as an experience that demonstrates how sustainable choices can be creative, community-driven, and personally rewarding.”
Shop, eat, and rediscover sustainable living at The Good Market on April 26, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM at 515 Victory in Bangkok. It’s time to make mindful choices that are good for both you and the planet — no entry fee required!
