As a part of Vero’s strategy team, you will work with Senior Planners to be the team’s go-to resource for market insights, trends, and communication problem-solving. You will give an enhanced focus on strategies living in the realm of digital, keeping abreast of upcoming trends and new online marketing products. Your core responsibilities will be two-fold:
1. Research and Insights Management: Working closely with the rest of the planning department, you will support new strategic engagements with desktop research and insights management.

You should be able to guide and lead the ideas-generation process, identifying and building on any ideas from other people within the agency.
Research and Analysis
Intellectual curiosity is a must; we are looking for creative problem-solvers. You’ll need to have good understanding of research approaches (on and offline) and be able to apply these approaches to uncover breakthrough insights that can drive our client business forward.

The candidate will lead a team focused on supporting international clients looking to expand their presence in Indonesia especially in Digital Area.
The ideal candidate should be an agency professional with deep experience in not only leading accounts, but managing a team and delivering on creative Digital or integrated campaigns and assignments at the highest industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You would be supporting account teams to develop client briefs into inspiring and informative internal briefs. Keeping abreast of new trends and developments and sharing those with the rest of the team and company on a regular basis. You will be responsible for turning ideas into well-rounded, strategically-sound, deliverable plans that you lead and write, collaborating with others in the team to encompass audience insights, trend analysis, marketing/media executions, timings and budgets. - Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
- 3 + years of agency experience in media relations or PR role
- Fluent in English and Bahasa, both verbal and written

Position: General Accountant & HR Officer, Vietnam
Accountant (80%)
- Performing daily accounting tasks: following and checking on bank transactions, payment transfers, receivable and payable; issuing VAT invoices; collecting invoices; storing documents and inputting data into accounting software.
- Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements in accordance with VAS and all other prevailing laws including Tax laws, government laws, and other regulations, such as rolling cashflow statements/forecasts, project status reports of actual vs budget, yearly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other periodic and ad-hoc internal reports to BOM.
- Checking and ensuring all contracts with vendors and clients are consistent; keep track of all the contracts in filling properly
- Following and controlling the revenue and cost of each project; ensuring it is within budget
- Performing monthly reconciliation of debtors, creditors, and bank balances, audit schedule report. Investigate possible discrepancies and if needed, follow up on outstanding items.
- Preparing Tax declaration and finalization (VAT, CIT, FCT, PIT, WHT, …)
- Coordinating with other departments and internal audits from Head Office and external parties.
- Managing external relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and relevant government organizations relating to accounting and finance matters
- Keeping policies and procedures up to date and in line with Vietnamese changes in laws related to tax/vat/etc. Develop new ones if required and ensure FS complies with company procedures related to finance/accounting
C&B Support (15%):
- Being in charge of monthly salary payments, SHUI, Labor report, and Tax Report (quarterly/annually)
- Proceeding and fulfilling salary’s relevant paperwork: Labor Contract, Salary Adjustment Decision,
- Being in charge of registration for Bao Viet insurance and supporting employees in claiming Bao Viet insurance
- Coordinating with other providers relating to employee benefits including extra health insurance
- (Bao Viet), Mental health vendor to keep track of employee’s onboarding/offboarding
HR-Admin support (5%):
- Providing logistic support for staff travel: booking accommodation, air tickets, etc.
- Support for ex-pat staff relating to Visa, work permit (WP), residence card and shipping clearance
About you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other analytical disciplines.
- Highly responsible, and mature, with great communication and writing skills in both Vietnamese and English
- Advanced knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and the prevailing tax regulations.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in tax accounting, general accounting, or a similar position.
- Experience in the accounting/audit service company is a strong plus.
- Understanding of accounting procedures and standards.
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and excellent in computer skills, especially MS Excel.
- Chief Accountant certificate is preferred.

TRAVEL AND PLACE OF WORK
Your usual location for work will be the company’s office in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. Your place of work may vary depending on the Company’s needs, including Thailand, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia the Philippines, or other locations as instructed from time to time. Additional expenses, incurred by you as a result of the Company directing that you work from a location other than your usual location, will be reimbursed by the Company.
