Vero wrapped up “The Good Market,” a pre-loved fashion community marketplace, on a high note. Held on April 26, 2025 at the 515 Victory in Bangkok, the day-long event served as a powerful platform connecting consumers with key opinion leaders and creators through collective environmental action.
The Good Market expanded on the success of The Good Shop, Vero’s in-office initiative that transformed a corner of Vero Supercampus in Bangkok into an exchange hub where team members bought, sold, and traded pre-loved clothing and accessories. The Good Shop later inspired other internal initiatives, including The Good Food and The Good Waste, embedding a sustainable mindset into Vero’s DNA.
Built on this foundation, The Good Market aimed to leverage its inaugural impact by bringing its strong expertise in key opinion leaders (KOLs) and creators’ engagement and expanding this approach into a larger community event.
Championing slow fashion through the power of creators
Attracting more than 200 attendees, the event brought together 27 exhibitors, including influencer-led preloved brands, eco–food vendors, and sustainable handcraft workshops.
Popular KOLs including Pattrakorn Tungsupakul (ployptk), Pichaya Khamprasit (Tantansdiary), Phitchayawan Kittiphitchayaphat (Kukkick), Rinyaphat Sorrathananwong (Katrinyaphat), and Passariya Tantiwuthijanya (passariya) not only participated as vendors but also actively engaged with attendees, lending their voices and platforms to promote sustainable fashion choices among their combined millions of followers.
Throughout the day, attendees indulged guilt-free at the Sustainable Food Zone, where every delicious bite came served in eco-friendly packaging. For those feeling creative, hands-on upcycling workshops attracted participants eager to transform overlooked items into unique pieces—proving that sustainability and creativity truly make the perfect pair.
Small actions, big impact
The event’s panel discussion brought together diverse voices—representing corporate bodies, non-profit organizations, and key opinion leaders as they encouraged how small mindful actions, when united, can bring tangible impacts to the environment.
“Even our small actions could ripple into impacts that affect households everywhere,” said Thanchanok Choochart, Assistant Marketing Manager from Unilever International Thailand. She emphasized how minor packaging adjustments could save tons of resources, affecting more than 3.4 billion customers worldwide. “Through our Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan, we are committed to reducing plastic use and progressing toward our 2039 net-zero goal across all our operations.”
Thapanee Sinadyodharaks, Managing Director of Pankan by Yuvabadhana Foundation, revealed how everyday items transform into life-changing opportunities. “With over 3 million items collected last year alone, we have funded more than 10,000 educational scholarships for students across the country,” she explained.
Representing influencer and consumer on the panel, Pichaya Khamprasit, also known as Tantansdiary, reinforced the role of KOLs in promoting mindful choices: “As someone who shares my life with followers, I recognize that every sustainable choice I make inspires others to follow suit, collectively preventing countless items from entering oceans and landfills.”
The collective action for good
The Good Market provided a valuable platform for partners from environmental and social organizations to connect with the community and share their missions. The Seven Clean Seas Foundation engaged with attendees throughout the day, raising awareness about ocean plastic pollution. The event’s proceeds (after deducting operational costs) were donated to support their ongoing ocean conservation efforts.
Meanwhile, the Pan Kan shop by Yuvabadhana Foundation set up a dedicated kiosk where quality pre-loved items are sold to fund and support educational scholarships for youth across Thailand. All untraded fashion items from The Good Market were donated to the Pan Kan shop to further support their mission.
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) played a key role in raising awareness of urban waste management, showcasing their waste separation systems as part of the “Mai Te Ruam (No Mixed Waste)” campaign to marketgoers.
The event was supported and sponsored by brands committed to sustainable practices: Unilever International Thailand showcased its sustainability initiatives through product showcases including Fluocaril, Closeup, Simple, Vaseline, and Hellmann’s. PDM contributed with its creative home and furniture collections, decorating the venue space with furniture made with recycled material. 515 Victory provided the ideal venue and comprehensive event support throughout the day, while LOVEiS Entertainment brought their fan-favorite “Rooftop Band” performance to The Good Market, whereas Vivify label’s newly debut T-Pop idol “Baccuz” took the stage for their first–ever live performance.
