The past year has seen the communications industry grappling with changes unfolding at an unrelenting pace. As artificial intelligence continued to alter the ecosystem, newsrooms navigated the impact of new technologies and information channels, and audiences called for greater privacy while staying deeply embedded in the digital space, the rules kept changing and the ground rarely felt steady.
To many of us in the PR world—including our friends from the media and the communications teams we’ve worked across brands and enterprises—2025 was a year lived largely in motion. And we know that to begin another year the right way, we need to pause, contemplate, and ask: who are we when the dust has settled (i.e. campaigns successfully completed), and the world has gone quiet?
The Vero Re:Mind project grew out of the thought that we needed something to remind us of who we are and why we do what we do. Vero Re:Mind is a set of reflection cards centered on wellness, self-awareness, and emotional well-being, offering a thoughtful space for reflection. At a time when attention is constantly pulled outward, the cards are intended as a gentle prompt to look inward.
Sent to our industry peers, clients, and friends from the media, Vero Re:Mind is part of our annual year-end gestures. Following the “sleep well” concept in 2023 and “move well” in 2024, the reflection cards inspire recipients to “think well.” Re:Mind is a collection of mindful, bite-sized prompts designed to help you take a breath, reflect, and reset. Each card inspires small but meaningful actions—to reconnect with yourself, others, and the world around you.
Rooted in Vero’s belief that good ideas come from good intentions, Re:Mind reflects our ongoing commitment to creating consciously and living with purpose.
“Vero has always been intentional with our year-end gifts. Witnessing how fast-paced our industry has become, it’s clear that we all need space to breathe, to be present and grounded. We designed Vero Re:Mind with utmost sincerity and care, for we want these reflection cards to inspire people to take a look at themselves and feel proud of everything they’ve done, but also to think about who they truly are,” says Creative Group Head for Thailand, Sorraprapa (Pim) Pudtatrisin.
The reflection cards went through several iterations—of language, tone, and design. The team spent time discussing what not to say, just as much as what to include, as we simply wanted to offer something gentle and open-ended. Language needed to feel supportive without being directive; design needed to feel calm without disappearing.
From a communications perspective, this process mirrored how we approach our work every day. Good PR is rarely about saying the most—it is about saying the right thing, in the right way, at the right moment. That same discipline guided the creation of these cards.
For the design, the team drew inspiration from flowers. Using chrysanthemums (symbolizing positive energy and loyalty, gerberas (believed to relieve stress and signify new beginnings, marigolds (associated with prosperity and progress, and champakas (representing good fortune), we crafted our own geometric flowers and graphic elements to help visualize our message. Blending kind sentiments with the bold, modern shapes that form the Vero brand, the Re:Mind cards are an expression of Vero’s gratitude and support for our peers.
Vero Re:Mind is a tangible reminder of something fundamental about how Vero sees communications: at its best, it is human—genuine, sensitive, and grounded in care. Whether through a large-scale program or a quiet message in a card, it is always about connection.
