At Vero, we champion creativity, innovative thinking and knowledge sharing amongst our people throughout Southeast Asia. To further promote this positive energy, we have recently redesigned our office spaces in Yangon and Ho Chi Minh City to boost productivity and the well-being of our teams.
Let’s take a deeper look at what we’ve done.
Office Jungle
There are numerous studies that point to the positive roles plants and natural light plays in creating a healthy and positive work environment. Indoor plants for instance are scientifically proven to make people feel less stressed, more creative and healthier, and therefore more productive.
Collaborative Spaces
The way the office is laid out can also play an integral part in boosting the health and well-being of employees. We have given our employees the flexibility to work where they want to work – there are no dedicated desks and instead each team member has a locker for personal items and all desks are hot. Each office also contains creative collaborative spaces, meeting rooms, standing desks and a lounge.
Break Areas
We have built break areas where our employees can escape and restore.
This improves productivity and teamwork. We encourage our staff to move around, find sources of inspiration and work in the place that most sparks creativity and productivity.
Art
The selection of art in our offices represents our attitude. From neon lights to creative wall paintings, an inspirational ambiance is created. At the end of the day, an office that promotes employee’s happiness and well-being is one that is colorful and bright, not grey and dull.
