Responsibilities:

Supporting Vero’s Brand & Culture team with graphic design development and creative strategy input to accelerate the roll-out of branded communication (internal & external) including:

  • Website (blog articles, case studies) banners: static
  • Social media visuals (Facebook, Linkedin, IG): static, animated
  • White Papers layout, design
  • Newsletter visuals (headers, banners)
  • HR visuals (Career Announcements, Team Portraits)
  • Projects visuals (Sessions, Surveys, Campaigns: Wellness, Mental Health, Holidays…)
  • Main Brand templates (Credentials, Town Hall Deck, Stationary, Merch)

Mainly involved in Vero-based projects, you’d also contribute to regional ones when your help/expertise is required. This also includes potential support to account managers during client meetings that are relating to branding and graphic design matters.

About You:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a graphic design position 
  • Advanced Static & Basic Animation skills 
  • Brand minded, Client-side experience appreciated
  • Proficient in Illustrator, Indesign (for publications), Photoshop 
  • Understand and appreciate the efficacy of Canva for simple brand assets 
  • Content-driven, very efficient in maximizing content via layout, hierarchy, design system 
  • Contemporary and edgy style in portfolio and mood boards 
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and ideas.  
  • Good English speaking and writing skills  
  • Comfortable working in a young, multicultural environment.  
  • Highly organized, curious, and creative, and your friends rely on you to design birthday cards and their badminton team’s cool new logo.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will collaborate with account managers and directors to supporting the agency’s English-language copywriting, research, and content strategy efforts throughout the ASEAN region by developing compelling narratives for both client assignments and internal agency projects. This will include developing press releases and stories for the agency’s clients, supporting a sustained content strategy for the agency blog, and producing agency publications such as reports and white papers.   

As a support unit for local account teams, you will be involved from time to time in the strategic development of creative copywriting, branded journalism projects, proposing content opportunities, taglines, and suggesting creative angles that carry our client’s brand messages. Regarding projects that are published in English, you will often be the final editor and proofreader before publication. 

For in-house agency projects such as blog articles, white papers, newsletters, and agency social media posts, you will report to the agency’s regional Head of Culture. For client work such as press releases, editorials, and branded social media posts, you will work directly with the account teams for their respective clients and report to the COO and CEO as needed.

CRITERIA  

  • Excellent technical and stylistic proficiency in English-language writing. You have a degree from an English-language university and/or a minimum of two years working experience in a word-based content development related field such as journalism, creative writing, or brand copywriting.  
  • While knowledge of local Southeast Asian languages is not required, you should have a sensitivity and willingness to adapt your communication style to local cultural norms. Experience in translation/localization is helpful. 
  • You believe efficient communication is sparked by positive conversations.

Also includes responsibility for business development activities. You will assist your account managers in pitching and supporting client activity in the realm of PR & influencer engagement, social, digital. Includes providing creative solutions to clients’ challenges and embracing emerging marketing technology for the betterment of the agency and client business.

Overall, you would be working with a team to meet client KPIs, assisting other teams if need be, and generating positive business results for the agency. You would be reporting to your team leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You would be supporting account teams to develop client briefs into inspiring and informative internal briefs. Keeping abreast of new trends and developments and sharing those with the rest of the team and company on a regular basis. You will be responsible for turning ideas into well-rounded, strategically-sound, deliverable plans that you lead and write, collaborating with others in the team to encompass audience insights, trend analysis, marketing/media executions, timings and budgets. You will also be able to participate in the creative ideas generation process, identifying and building on any ideas from colleagues within the agency. 

Intellectual curiosity is a must; we are looking for creative problem-solvers. You’ll need to have good understanding of research approaches (on and offline) and be able to apply these approaches to help planning teams uncover breakthrough insights that can help drive our client business forward.

You will also collaborate with the account teams, where you will support PR and Digital client assignments with the objective to strengthen Vero’s know-how and client servicing. Finally, you’d also get involved in the design of the agency’s overall external communication plan. Together with your local team members, you would be responsible to coordinate and execute the company’s social media strategy. 

Through the internship, you will be involved on regional and local projects and you will be working with Vero teams from different offices in South East Asia.

Vero Vietnam is looking for an IMC Tech Account Manager!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pitching, managing, and supporting client activity in the realm of PR, social, digital & influencer engagement. Includes coordinating the teams to develop comprehensive communications strategies for prospects, providing creative solutions to clients’ challenges, and embracing emerging marketing technology for the betterment of the agency and client business.
You will also be in direct contact with clients and will develop strategies for prospects as well as for some of the agency’s current accounts. On top of this, you will get involved in the agency’s communication, pushing our brand to a wider number of potential clients and employees online.
Finally, you will be responsible to build, train, manage and retain your team of integrated communications professionals within the agency.

Overall, you would be working with a team to meet client KPIs, assisting other departments and management if need be, and generating positive business results for the agency. You would be reporting to IMC Account Director.

You would be reporting to Account team heads. 

CRITERIA  

  • You have 3 years working experience in a communication related field, working with (or as) a journalist(s) in mainstream or trade media.  
  • You have a strong journalist network in Ho Chi Minh among top tier business, mainstream and trade media, and know how to develop one in Hanoi. You understand the market’s specificities when it comes to media engagement, and you know how to keep updated.  
  • You follow industrial news and understand how brands can move in Vietnam’s vibrant economic development. 
  • You are detailed oriented, you understand the power of messages, and you are comfortable to advise business leaders with comprehensive briefing documents.

TRAVEL AND PLACE OF WORK

Your usual location for work will be the company’s office in Vietnam. Your place of work may vary depending on the Company’s needs, including Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, or other locations as instructed from time to time. RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting Vero’s account teams and clients with up-to-date, strategic knowledge of Vietnam’s lifestyle, influencer, and consumer trends. 

Working to build the Vero business in Vietnam and across ASEAN. Includes supporting client accounts, counseling clients, supporting new business development – and in general ensuring clients and stakeholders are satisfied with Vero’s work. 

You will support account managers and planners in pitching and supporting client activity in the realm of consumer and lifestyle communication and lifestyle media and influencer engagement. Includes providing creative solutions to clients’ challenges, protecting messaging and media/influencer relationships, and providing earned value to client opportunities. 

Overall, you would be working with a team to meet client KPIs, assisting other teams if need be, and generating positive business results for the agency. You would be reporting to Account team heads.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • You have 3 years of working experience in a communication-related field, working with (or as) a journalist(s)/influencer(s) in consumer or lifestyle media channels.
  • You have a strong network in Ho Chi Minh’s art and culture scene, and know how to develop one in Hanoi.
  • You follow cultural news and understand how brands can move in Vietnam’s vibrant cultural development.

Responsibilities:
As a part of Vero’s strategy team, you will work with Senior Planners to be the team’s go-to resource for market insights, trends, and communication problem-solving. You will give an enhanced focus on strategies living in the realm of digital, keeping abreast of upcoming trends and new online marketing products. Your core responsibilities will be two-fold:

1. Research and Insights Management: Working closely with the rest of the planning department, you will support new strategic engagements with desktop research and insights management.

2. Marketing: You will also be involved in the agency’s business development at large, developing and updating the agency’s marketing material and supporting the agency’s reputational efforts.

On a broader level, as part of the strategy team you will be taking part in the following activities:

Strategy
Includes taking client briefs, challenging them, developing them into inspiring and informative internal briefs. Keeping abreast of new trends and developments and sharing those with the rest of the team and company on a regular basis. You will be responsible for turning ideas into well-rounded, strategically sound, deliverable plans that you lead and write, collaborating with others in the team to encompass audience insights, trend analysis, marketing/media executions, timings, and budgets.

Creativity
Driving the conception and development of innovative on-brief digital ideas for clients and/or new business, from bigger campaign themes to smaller execution/technology-led ideas. You should be able to guide and lead the ideas-generation process, identifying and building on any ideas from other people within the agency.

Research and Analysis
Intellectual curiosity is a must; we are looking for creative problem-solvers. You’ll need to have good understanding of research approaches (on and offline) and be able to apply these approaches to uncover breakthrough insights that can drive our client business forward.

Effectiveness
Keen focus and understanding of how client business works and ability to develop strategic approaches clearly designed to help grow clients’ brands.

Your profile:

You have 3 years of an academic experience or a practical track record in communications or creative-related fields. You have an analytical mind and can-do attitude with experience structuring research and the ability to process data and extract trends. You are well connected to the communication industry’s development, new technologies, tools, and trends and you have excellent interpersonal communication skills, and you are used to interacting with external stakeholders in both Vietnamese & English.
