RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop social media content plans for always-on projects and ad-hoc campaigns.
  • Write and edit engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on the target audience’s insights.
  • Working closely with designers to develop visual ideas to complement the text.
  • Localize documents in other industries for the Vietnam market.

ABOUT YOU

  • Hands-on experience in hospitality and real estate-related fields is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working to build the Vero business in Vietnam and across ASEAN. Includes supporting client accounts, counseling clients, supporting new business development – and, in general, ensuring clients and stakeholders are satisfied with Vero’s work. Also includes responsibility for business development activities. You will assist your account managers in pitching and supporting client activity in the realm of PR & influencer engagement, social, and digital. Includes providing creative solutions to client’s challenges and embracing emerging marketing technology for the betterment of the agency and client business.

Overall, you would be working with a team to meet client KPIs, assisting other teams if need be, and generating positive business results for the agency. You would be reporting to your team leaders.

CLIENT SERVICE

  • Assist the client service lead for the accounts your team oversees, serving as the point of contact for client management. Support the team in providing the highest level of client service and work closely with them to ensure that all client needs are met. 
  • Attend meetings with clients, be responsive in group chats, and ensure that you stay up-to-date with your account’s activities. Be prompt in providing help for accounts associated with your clients. 
  • Proactively liaise with clients daily to ensure they receive the best possible guidance and support from you. Maintain strong relationships with clients, working to foster trust and confidence in the agency’s abilities. 
  • Actively seek out opportunities to add value to client relationships by identifying potential areas for growth or improvement. 
  • Regularly review account performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and make recommendations to the client service lead and the account team. 
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to clients, ensuring that all data is relevant, insightful, and presented in a clear and concise manner.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • You will be responsible for managing influencer relations, event management, media relations, and content preparation. You will support the account team to ensure a smooth workflow. 
  • Work collaboratively with your team to fulfill client KPIs, aid other departments as needed, and deliver excellent business results for the agency. 
  • Collaborate with support teams and actively participate in marketing and advertising initiatives for your clients and prospects. 
  • Develop effective campaign plans by utilizing appropriate strategies and tactics. Organize and coordinate client activities, analyze the results of the campaign efforts, check and report on the campaign’s progress, negotiate with clients, and resolve any problems. 
  • Accurately assess that all deliverables are completed on schedule and to the client’s satisfaction, ensuring the work is of excellent quality. 
  • Build strong relationships and networks with key influencers, media, and suppliers. 

 

ABOUT YOU

  • You have at least 2-3 years of working experience in a communication-related field, working with brands across digital communication, public relations, and/or brand strategy.
  • You have proven work experience in excellent social content planning and writing, especially dual language and content in both Vietnamese and English and are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • You have experience consulting brands in either public relations, digital communication or brand strategy.
  • You believe efficient communication is sparked by positive conversations.

RESPONSIBILITY

Accountant (80%)

  • Performing daily accounting tasks: following and checking on bank transactions, payment transfers, receivable and payable; issuing VAT invoices; collecting invoices; storing documents and inputting data into accounting software.
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements in accordance with VAS and all other prevailing laws including Tax laws, government laws, and other regulations, such as rolling cashflow statements/forecasts, project status reports of actual vs budget, yearly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other periodic and ad-hoc internal reports to BOM.
  • Checking and ensuring all contracts with vendors and clients are consistent; keep track of all the contracts in filling properly
  • Following and controlling the revenue and cost of each project; ensuring it is within budget
  • Performing monthly reconciliation of debtors, creditors, and bank balances, audit schedule report. Investigate possible discrepancies and if needed, follow up on outstanding items.
  • Preparing Tax declaration and finalization (VAT, CIT, FCT, PIT, WHT, …)
  • Coordinating with other departments and internal audits from Head Office and external parties.
  • Managing external relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and relevant government organizations relating to accounting and finance matters
  • Keeping policies and procedures up to date and in line with Vietnamese changes in laws related to tax/vat/etc. Develop new ones if required and ensure FS complies with company procedures related to finance/accounting

C&B Support (15%):

  • Being in charge of monthly salary payments, SHUI, Labor report, and Tax Report (quarterly/annually)
  • Proceeding and fulfilling salary’s relevant paperwork: Labor Contract, Salary Adjustment Decision,
  • Being in charge of registration for Bao Viet insurance and supporting employees in claiming Bao Viet insurance
  • Coordinating with other providers relating to employee benefits including extra health insurance
  • (Bao Viet), Mental health vendor to keep track of employee’s onboarding/offboarding

HR-Admin support (5%):

  • Providing logistic support for staff travel: booking accommodation, air tickets, etc.
  • Support for ex-pat staff relating to Visa, work permit (WP), residence card and shipping clearance

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other analytical disciplines.
  • Highly responsible, and mature, with great communication and writing skills in both Vietnamese and English
  • Advanced knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and the prevailing tax regulations.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in tax accounting, general accounting, or a similar position.
  • Experience in the accounting/audit service company is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of accounting procedures and standards.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and excellent in computer skills, especially MS Excel.
  • Chief Accountant certificate is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Vero is seeking a data and insights consultant to join our regional Data Innovation Unit. This role is designed to work with the agency’s teams and clients in Vietnam while also supporting the agency’s regional data and intelligence unit. The unit’s role is to bring strong views and expertise on data and insights to campaign creation at Vero.

 

  • Your principal responsibility will be to deliver expertise on data and digital insights to Vero teams and clients as we create PR, social, influencer and digital campaigns.
  • You will equip the agency, and its consulting teams with tools and internal services so they are empowered by industry-leading insights about the agency’s client’s target customers and communication ecosystems
  • This may include the purchasing, management, and benchmarking of Insights and analytics tools, the internal promotion of such tools among consultants, the development of training/onboarding programs for teams, the management of ad-hoc research projects for brands and for the agency as well as the potential sourcing, management, and optimization of the agency’s proprietary data sources
  • The role is both internal and external facing, as you will also participate in client pitching and you will support Consulting teams in specific research projects for brands.
  • Overall, you would be working with a team to meet client KPIs, assisting other departments and management if need be and generating positive business results for the agency
  • You will be reporting to the Regional Director of Data and Insights department.

To succeed in the role, you should have a strong understanding of research and insights and media.

 

ABOUT  YOU

  • At least three years in a research-related role, for a research firm or in-house; experience managing datasets and pulling and formulating insights for brands; experience in social-sentiment analysis or social listening is a plus.
  • Excellent in data analytics as well as project management skills.

POSITION REVIEW

Pitching, managing and supporting client activity in the realm of PR, social, digital & influencer engagement. We trust our people to use good judgment when given guidelines for making decisions about taking a holiday, and we know that our teams work better when they can rest and take a proper break from work. Our goal is that every team takes an average of 15 days (minimum!) per person a year.

Annual Bonus: An “enhanced 13th month” through which you will receive an annual extra sum of money equal to your salary in the preceding month plus a fraction of annual company benefits. The year-end bonus is determined by the Company and at its sole discretion. The Year-end Bonus is paid in the same paycheck in January.

Flexible Office: All our employees can choose where they want to work on any given day, should it be from the office, from home, from a coffee shop, or from a yacht in the Pacific Ocean.

Home office budget: one company laptop, subscriptions to relevant industry media, a budget for you to enhance your home office, as well as to social sentiment analysis and business intelligence tools and dashboards.

Working days: from Monday to Friday

International Travel: As much as possible, we push our teams to travel for events/client work. On any given year (non-pandemic, that is), manager-level team members have the opportunity to visit some of our other offices, attend industry events, and follow their clients if they handle regional projects.

Wellness Day off: 1 paid day per quarter for you to take time off, unplug, and treat yourself to something nice.

Thought Leadership and training: We sponsor team members with training tools and resources, both internal and external, and we even incentivize employees to complete classes. Details of training programs and incentives will be shared upon your onboarding. This includes training and development investments organized by the company as well as specialized programs that our executives may come across and feel is needed for their development. For example, this could be a program organized by a group such as PR WEEK, PRCA or a training program that focuses on business in general. Across the Vero group, we are seeking new and better ways to help people develop careers.

Health Insurance: The Company will provide private medical insurance as a benefit. The actual package and structure of the insurance may be determined by the Company and at its sole discretion.

Mental Health Budget: We understand the importance of access to proper mental health support; all our employees can access a minimum budget of $500 USD per year for therapy with internationally trained psychologists. The access to this budget and the content of your therapy are 100% confidential; only you and your therapist know what is being said during sessions, of course.
