Senior IMC Account Executive (Myanmar)

Vero, a regional, award-winning brand communications agency, is opening an opportunity for Senior IMC Account Executive who wants to join a creative, collaborative, and progressive team focused on serving the best brands in Myanmar and Southeast Asia.

The successful candidate will work with the team focused on digital marketing, creative online campaigns, influencer campaigns, online and offline activation activities and events, report and analysis, and coordination as part of the Agency’s scope of work for Clients from Myanmar and sometimes with other key markets as part of the client’s regional hub, based in Myanmar.

The ideal candidate should be an agency professional with experience in integrated communications, including digital and social media, advertising, digital performance, offline and online activation campaigns, and account management to drive and manage brand communication assignments at the highest industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Service

  • Assist the client service lead for the accounts your team oversee, being the second PIC for client management and support the team to provide the utmost level of client service.
  • Attend meetings, being responsive in group chats with clients, ensuring you are on top of your accounts’ activities, and providing prompt help for accounts associated to your clients are all examples of this.
  • Liaise with clients daily to ensure that they receive the best possible guidance and support
    from you and the relationships with the clients remain intact.

Account Management

  • Support in digital account, influencer relations, event management, media relations and content preparation and need to be responsible for supporting account team to ensure smoothness of workflow
  • Collaborate with the team to generate ideas for content, create a plan for organizing the content, and ensure timely delivery to the client.
  • Work together with a team to fulfil client KPIs while also aiding other departments as needed and delivering excellent business results for the agency.
  • Collaborate with the support teams and provide your all in the marketing and advertising initiatives for your clients and prospects.
  • Develop effective campaigns plans using appropriate strategies tactics, organize and coordinate client activities, analyse results of campaigns of efforts, checking and reporting on the campaign’s progress, negotiate with clients and solving any problems.
  • Accurately assess that the deliverables are completed on schedule and to the client’s satisfaction, as well as that the work is of excellent quality.
  • Build relationships and networks with key influencers, media as well as suppliers.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s in communications or marketing-related degree (or equivalent)
  • Two or more years of proven experience in the advertising and marketing fields is preferred
  • Proven strong critical thinking
  • Strong verbal and written skills in both English and the mother tongue language
  • Creative, open-minded, and understanding personality
  • Ability to interact and present confidently in front of teams and executives
  • Ability to understand client’s business issues and requirements
  • Able to make successful and smooth negotiations with related parties
  • Ability to complete and delegate work effectively and support market research and analysis
  • Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and able to meet tight deadlines

We’re looking for Account Support Interns to join Vero Myanmar and assist several teams working on client accounts, communication campaigns, and event management. Here are a few of the things you can expect to take part in as support interns:

  • Event Planning and Execution: brainstorming theme ideas, taking part in budget planning and management, negotiating with the agency’s vendors, supporting the execution and coordination of various campaigns, booking venues, liaising with suppliers and clients, managing logistics, and presenting post-event reports.
  • Community Engagement: taking care of client communities, monitoring social conversations, and tracking sentiments, analysis, and reporting.
  • Content Development: brainstorming content directions and critical narratives, developing compelling content, and copywriting for client accounts.
  • Digital marketing: monitoring accounts’ social media channels and activities.
  • Research & Insights: conducting market research and surveys regularly to share updates with groups and clients, sending reports to your team leader(s).

And here are a few things we’re looking for (not necessarily requirements):

  • Proficiency in at least Burmese and English.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in external communication with clients and vendors.
