The Brief

Lululemon, a global leader in the athleisure and wellness segment, opened its first store in Thailand in 2021.

Vero’s challenge was to develop a strategy that would position Lululemon as a symbol of mindful living and well-being in the booming Thai health and wellness market. Given the strong wellness culture in Thailand, where many people value fitness highly, we used a comprehensive engagement campaign with influencers, combining paid and earned efforts. Our goal was to authentically highlight the brand’s commitment to quality, style, and comfort, in line with Lululemon’s pillars—Move, Grow and Connect—and overall brand vision, and to make it a key part of the Thai wellness scene.

Execution

Vero worked with nearly 250 influencers in the lifestyle and wellness sector to join the inaugural launch of Lululemon’s first store in Thailand. We also arranged wellness days where influencers could enjoy holistic well-being activities curated by Lululemon. To invite them, we helped Lululemon in creating influencer kits containing thoughtfully curated Lululemon products for them to try before the launch event. Besides partnering with lifestyle and wellness influencers, we also reached out to notable celebrities in Thailand to boost the launch’s visibility and connect with a broader audience.
